Actor-turned politician and former AP CM NTR's fourth daughter K Uma Maheswari passed away on August 1, at her Hyderabad residence. The police found her body hanging with a ceiling fan and suspected it to be a suicide, as Uma was suffering from prolonged illness and likely to have had depression. However, a case has been registered and the body has been shifted for a postmortem. More details are awaited.
