BSF Personnel Injured In Unprovoked Firing By Pak Rangers Along IB In Jammu

A BSF personnel was injured in unprovoked firing by the Pakistani Rangers along the International Border (IB) in the Ramgarh sector of Samba district on early Thursday, a senior official said. The firing targeting Border Outposts in the district is the third ceasefire violation in 24 days by the Pakistani Rangers along the IB on the Jammu frontier. One BSF personnel suffered injuries and was evacuated to a local hospital.

Unidentified Flying Object Spotted By BSF At International Border: Jammu

BSF officials spotted an Unidentified Flying Object in the Kanacahk sector at Jammu's international border and fired at it, on August 1. According to the BSF officials, the object had blinking lights, and tried to cross the International Border (IB) at around 9:31 pm. Following the incident, the area is on high alert, and a search has been initiated. There have been various instances of drone spotted in the IB.

Bihar Police Arrests 3 People, Suspects Communal Violence, Terror Attack Conspiracy

In Bihar, Patna, the Phulwari Sharif police busted a gang suspected to be a modular terrorist group, on July 14. The police arrested three people including a retired SI Mohammad Jalaluddin. Moreover, they launched a hunt for 12 other suspects, allegedly from the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) and the PFI outfits. They also seized an India vision 2047 manifesto, suspecting terror attacks and communal violence conspiracy.

Delhi Court Rejects Bail To Accused In IB Staffer's Murder Case

A Delhi Court has rejected the bail appeal of an accused in IB staffer's murder case. The murder of Ankit Sharma had taken place during the 2020 Delhi riots. Rejecting the bail, the court on May 6 stated "there is enough material on record" which proves that the accused was a part of the "riotous mob". The accused was arrested in 2020 from Uttar Pradesh.
