India's Shafali Verma Regains No.1 Spot In ICC Rankings
Indian Cricketer Shafali Verma (17) regained the No.1 spot in the International Cricket Council T20I Batting Rankings for Women on January 25, after replacing Australia's Beth Mooney, while India's Smriti Mandana slipped to No.4. Both Shafali and Smriti will appear in New Zealand in the upcoming series on February. Shafali Verma appeared last time in T20I cricket in October 2021, when she was in great form in the Big-Bash League.

ICC Test Rankings: Bumrah Back to Top 10, Kohli Slips to Fifth
England captain Joe Root and India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has advanced in the ICC Men's Test Player Rankings after fine performances in the opening match of their ICC World Test Championship series in Nottingham. Root has overtaken counterpart Virat Kohli to the fourth position in the ICC batsman list. Bumrah returns to the top 10 for bowlers with a match haul of nine for 110.

Pakistan's Babar Azam Tops ICC Men's ODI Ranking; Replaces Virat Kholi
Pakistani cricketer Babar Azam has replaced Indian skipper Virat Kohli and become the No. 1 player in the ICC rankings. Gaining 13 points in the Pakistan-South Africa series, the 26-year-old Pakistani skipper took an eight point lead from Virat. Achieving the feat, Babar became the only fourth Pakistani cricketer to chart #1 in ICC rankings. Notably, skipper Kohli had been ruling the top position for over three years.

India Jumps To 2nd Place In ICC T-20 Rankings Ahead Of England Series
The Indian Cricket Team has moved to the second spot in the ICC T-20 rankings before their fixture against England. Reportedly, India is seven points behind England and a point ahead of Australia, who recently lost a series to New Zealand. While wicket-keeper batsman KL Rahul claimed the third spot with 816 points, skipper Virat Kohli retained sixth with 697 points. Meantime, India will face England on March 12.

Kohli Slips To 5th In ICC Test Rankings, Joe Root Scales To 3rd
Indian captain Virat Kohli was pushed by his English counterpart Joe Root to the fifth spot in the recently released ICC rankings. Root has leapt two spots following his composed performance of 218 and 40 in the recently concluded test match in Chennai. Moreover, Rishabh Pant became the first full-time Indian wicketkeeper to reach 700 points. New Zealand’s Kane Williamson and Australia's Steve Smith secured the first and second spot.

ICC ODI Rankings: Virat Kohli Maintains Top Position; Rohit on Second
Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli remains on top in the International Cricket Council rankings for the One Day International that was updated on September 16. Kohli has retained the top spot with 871 points, followed by Rohit Sharma (855). England's Johny Bairstow and Australia's Glenn Maxwell and Alex Carrey gained in the ranking charts after putting a good performance in their recent ODI match.

ICC Test Rankings: Kohli Maintains 2nd Position in the Batting Chart
On August 18 in the latest ICC Test player rankings, Virat Kohli with 886 points continues to maintain his second position in the batting chart along with Cheteshwar Pujara (766) and Ajinkya Rahane (726) in the eighth and tenth positions respectively. Steve Smith stays at the top spot in the chart. Jasprit Bumrah slips to the ninth position amongst the bowlers whereas Ravindra Jadeja stays in the third spot in the all-rounders' list.
