Prize Money For ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 Doubled
The prize money for the winner of the 2022 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup will amount to $1.32 million, on February 16. The overall money has seen a rise by 75 % with all the eight teams taking home a share of $3.5 million, which is $1.5 million more than the previous edition. The ICC Women's Cricket World Cup will take place from March 4, in New Zealand.

India's Shafali Verma Regains No.1 Spot In ICC Rankings
Indian Cricketer Shafali Verma (17) regained the No.1 spot in the International Cricket Council T20I Batting Rankings for Women on January 25, after replacing Australia's Beth Mooney, while India's Smriti Mandana slipped to No.4. Both Shafali and Smriti will appear in New Zealand in the upcoming series on February. Shafali Verma appeared last time in T20I cricket in October 2021, when she was in great form in the Big-Bash League.

India's Smriti Mandhana Named ICC Women's Cricketer Of The Year
Indian cricketer and opener Smriti Mandhana has been named as the ICC Women's Cricketer of the year for her outstanding performance across all formats in 2021. In a statement, ICC said that Mandhana was short-listed for the top award, The Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy along with few other players. Mandhana played a vital role when India won two of the eight matches in the limited-overs series against South Africa.

BCCI Announces Indian Squad For 2022 ICC Under 19 World Cup
The BCCI announced the Indian cricket squad for the 2022 ICC Under 19 World Cup, on December 19. The team includes Yash Dhull as Captain, SK Rasheed as VC, Aaradhya Yadav, and Dinesh Bana as WKs. The tournament will be held in West Indies between January 14 to February 5. India will be competing against 15 teams in 48 matches. So far, India has won the title four times.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) appointed BCCI President Sourav Ganguly as the chairperson of the ICC Men's Cricket Committee. Ganguly will take the place of Anil Kumble who recently retired from the position. ''I'm delighted to welcome Sourav to the position,'' said Greg Barclay. ICC To Launch Bat Tracking Technology In T20 World Cup 2021
For the first time ever in the T20 World Cup, International Cricket Council (ICC) will introduce the bat tracking technology. The technology is set to be provided by the Hawk-Eye in select matches in the Super 12 phase. Further, it's reported that the ICC TV production will experience 35 cameras at all the venues. ICC T20 World Cup: India To Face Pakistan After 5 Years
The T20 Cricket World Cup will be held in Oman and UAE between October 17 and November 14, 2021, as announced by the ICC. The ICC announced the schedule on August 17 that features all-time rivals India and Pakistan who will face each other after five years on October 24 in Dubai.
