Pakistan Passes Bill To Provide Plea Right To Kulbhushan Jadhav
Complying with the International Court of Justice order, Pakistan's National Assembly has passed a bill to provide plea right to Kulbhushan Jadhav against his death sentence. However, the Pakistani Military court in 2017 had sentenced death penalty to Jadhav under the charges of espinonage and terrorism. Finally, India approached the ICJ against the verdict and was ruled in 2019 that consular access be granted to India.

Centre Demands Kulbhushan Jadhav to be Represented by Indian Lawyer
Ministry of External Affairs' spokesperson Anurag Srivastava on August 20 informed that India has demanded for Kulbhushan Jadhav to be represented by an Indian lawyer in Pakistani court.
