Landslide In Kerala’s Idukki Claims Lives Of 3; 2 Others Missing
In Kerala’s Idukki, a landslide in the early hours on August 29, has claimed the lives of three persons including a minor boy. Also, the incident has left two other persons missing. Reportedly, the landslide washed away the house of the deceased. Meanwhile, a search operation has been initiated to find and rescue the three family members who went missing. Kerala's 1st Caravan Park To Come Up At Idukki
Kerala’s first Caravan Park is all set to open in Idukki, with one of the scenic hill stations. The state Tourism Minister PA Mohammad Riyas said the park will be opening for visitors from February 25, as part of the new Caravan Tourism policy. Reportedly, this house-on-wheels is equipped with all required amenities and available, for two people and a family. However, it will also offer Village Life Experience packages.

Kerala: Forest Officials Book 5 For Killing, Eating Leopard In Idukki
Kerala forest officials on January 22 arrested five people in Idukki for killing a leopard and consuming its meat. The officials also recovered 10 kilogram of uncooked meat and body parts of the leopard from the accused. Shocked over the incident, the forest officials said this was the first case where they busted someone for consuming leopard meat.
