Another Flight Pee Incident Reported, Accused Arrested At IGI Airport

Another incident of pee-gate on flight reported on March 4. As per sources, an American student in a New York-Delhi Air India flight, allegedly urinated on a co-passenger, under the influence of alcohol. Getting into details, the student apologized, following which victim did not complain. However, a flight crew informed to the Air Traffic Control (ATC) at Indira Gandhi International Airport, following which the accused was arrested.

IGI Airport Plans To Reduce Its Carbon Emission To Zero By 2030

Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in Delhi planned to reduce its Carbon Emission to Zero by 2030, said Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL). Flight AI-111 Wasn't Aborted Due To Swarm Of Ants: Air India

In a very surprising incident, an Air India flight on September 6 was replaced with another Boeing 787-8 plane at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) after a swarm of ants had been found in the business class, said media reports. Reportedly, the flight was to leave for London and the Prince of Bhutan was also a passenger. However, Air India debunked any such claims in a tweet.

Custom Staff At IGI Delhi Bust 2 Zambians; Recovers 14kg Heroin

The custom officials at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport on April 14 busted two Zambian people including a woman and recovered14kg heroin. Reportedly, the drugs worth Rs 98 crore were being couriered to someone in Delhi. Terming the confiscation has “one of the biggest drug hauls at Delhi airport, the IGI custom officials said “Role of a bigger syndicate behind the attempted smuggling cannot be ruled out.”
