Telangana: 1st Year PUC Student At IIIT Basara Ends Life
In Telangana's Basara IIIT, a first-year student of PUC allegedly committed suicide. The victim, identified as Deepika (17) reportedly hanged herself in the hostel washroom in the wee hours of June 15. The college administration found Deepika's body and rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was declared dead. The police registered a case and suspected mental strain, as Deepika was suffering from mental issues, taking extreme step.

Food Poisoning In IIIT Basara, Education Minister Orders Probe
In Telangana's IIT Basara, approximately 100 students were reported ill, after they consumed hostel mess food, on July 15.
