President Kovind Arrives At Maharashtra, Nagpur, Will Inaugurate IIM Campus

President of India Ram Nath Kovind is on a one-day visit to Maharashtra, on May 8.  He arrived in Nagpur, Maharashtra in order to inaugurate the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM).  Notably, the institute was established in 2015, has now a permanent campus in Nagpur. Furthermore, Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari received President Kovind at the Nagpur airport.

IIM Kashipur organised Confab '22, a discussion forum, to answer Interview related queries. Over 600 participants joined the event and benefited from it. After the CAT 2021 interview rounds were announced, candidates raised various doubts about the interview process, preparation methods, curriculum, etc. Confab '22 commenced on February 5 and ended on February 6. The event also had break-out rooms to ensure one-to-one query resolution.

Meet 22-Year-old Boy Who Secured 99.99 Percent In CAT Without Coaching

Pune-based Yash Mandhana made his parents proud by securing the 99.99 percentile in the CAT 2021 examination at the first attempt. The 22-year-old is doing a Mechanical Engineering course at IIT Bombay and wants to join IIM to understand ''how businesses make money''. Mandhana said that it is important to take up the mock tests and be consistent in the preparation, instead of coaching.

Senior Congress minister and former finance minister P Chidambaram slammed the central government for not filling up the vacant teachers' posts in central universities, IITs and IIMs. The statement has come a day after union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan informed Rajya Sabha about 10,000 vacant teachers' posts.
