IIM-C Clocks 100% Placement; Consulting, Finance Emerge Top Recruiters
The recruitment drive at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM-C) has recorded 100% placements. Reportedly, around 467 students participated in the placement drive and fetched over 520 offers from consulting, financing and marketing sector. Bringing students to Campus is risky: IIM Calcutta Teachers
Out of 82 teachers of IIM Calcutta, 61 have written to board of governors to rethink on calling MBA Executive Programme students to campus. Citing COVID-19 cases in IIM Ahmedabad and IIT Kharagpur, faculties feared on students' attendance on campus. Earlier, IIM Calcutta on September 8 planned of calling 62 MBA students to campus and attend classes online. The teachers' group also said they were not consulted on the issue.
