SC Directs IIT-B To Admit Student Who Missed Seat Accidentally
The Supreme Court has directed IIT Bombay to offer Siddhant Batra interim enrolment to the course after he unintentionally missed his seat by clicking an incorrect link. The 18-year-old had scored AIR 270 at JEE Advanced and asked to reconsider his mistake on 'humanitarian grounds'. He had approached the apex court, after the Bombay High Court dismissed his plea, citing that the HC cannot intervene once admission processes have begun.

The Quacquarelli Symonds company ranked IIT Bombay as the best Institute in India as per its global universities analysis. However, the institute holds 172nd position globally. Mumbai: School student Uplifts Funds To Build Cold Storage For Farmers
Students from the Bombay Scottish School in Mahim, raised a crowdfunding drive to build storage facilities for the farmers in the Marathwada region. Eyeing to raise Rs.16 lakh, they plan on building 'Subjee Cooler'- a brick storage solution, to help farmers store their produced products. IIT Bombay UG Students Launch AI-Based Document Scanning Application
Rohit Kumar Chaudhary and Kavin Agrawal, final-year students from the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Bombay, developed an Artificial Intelligence (AI) mobile application called "AIR Scanner".
