Ramban Tunnel Collapse: Centre Forms Expert Panel, Gives 10 Days Time For Investigation
Centre has formed an expert panel to probe into the Ramban tunnel collapse incident in J&K. The incident occurred on May 19, in which 10 labourers were trapped and killed, and two were seriously injured. The committee has been tasked with submitting a detailed report within 10 days, finding the reasons for such frequent incidents and remedial measures. Reportedly, the panel is headed by IIT professor JT Shahu.

Air Pollution Increases Anaemia Among Children Under 5-Years: Study
A joint study by IIT Delhi and Harvard University has discovered high air pollution is threatening children under the age of 5 years with anaemia. The report highlighted that for every 10 micrograms/m³ of increase in PM2.5 exposure leads to 1.9% increased chances of getting anaemic.
