Famous Historian Balwant Moreshwar Purandare Passes Away
Balwant Moreshwar Purandare, renowned historian and Padma Vibhushan awardee, passed away on November 15 at a Pune hospital after a brief sickness. He was brought to the city's Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital three days ago, for pneumonia treatment. Film Legend Dilip Kumar Dies At 98 In Mumbai's Khar Hinduja Hospital
The 98-year-old veteran actor Dilip Kumar passed away in Mumbai's Khar Hinduja Hospital on July 7. Kumar had repeatedly been facing breathing issues since June 6 and was admitted to the hospital thrice in June. He was survived by his actress-wife Saira Banu. Sharing the news of his demise on Kumar's Twitter handle, his family friend Faisal Farooqui wrote, ''We're from God and to Him, we return."
