Orange Alert Issued For Maharashtra, Telangana, Delhi

Maharashtra is witnessing torrential rainfalls for the last couple of weeks and no respite from heavy showers is expected in the coming days. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Mumbai city and adjoining areas during the next 24 hours and has issued an orange alert for the district. AP Weather, IMD Alerts Rainfall For Next 5 Days

Yamuna River Water Crosses Danger Mark, People Evacuated

The Delhi Disaster management authority evacuated people near the Yamuna River region, as the water level crosses the danger mark. On July 11, the river crossed the 206 watermark, amid heavy to very heavy rainfall which lashed the national capital in the past few days.  At least 41 people died in the past 48-hours.
