Discussions In Meeting Of Nepal PM And PM Modi In Lumbini Visit: Foreign Secretary

Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra, on May 13, talked about issues that could be discussed during the meeting of Sher Bahadur Deuba and PM Narendra Modi during his Lumbini visit on May 16. He mentioned the discussions of boundary, development of partnership, society of South Asia, aspects relating to Hydropower cooperation, electricity trading. He said conversation would be picked up from where they were left off in New Delhi April.

Union Cabinet Approves Bridge Construction Over Mahakali River

Union Government approved to sign MoU between India-Nepal, to construct bridge over Mahakali river. On January 6, the Cabinet chaired by PM Modi took the decision, helping people of Uttrakhand (Dharchula) and Nepal territory, sharing the region. Union Minister Anurag Thakur briefed the media about the meeting and said, the MoU will be helpful for people and enhance the relations between Nepal and India.

Nepali Citizens Use Aadhar Card To Enter India, Reveals Official

Many Nepali citizens have been using Aadhar card to enter India via the Uttarakhand Border stated the Subdivisional District Magistrate of Tanakpur Himanshu Kafaltia.
