NCERT Panel Recommends Bharat From India In School Text Books

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) panel has proposed to universally replace “India” with “Bharat” in all school textbooks. NCERT director  said, as of now it is just a recommendation and it is yet to get an approval. “We have not accepted anything at the moment. The panel sent their report." Notably, this development comes amid Centre receiving backlash from the Opposition for proposing Bharat instead of India.

Captain Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team won the match against Pakistan, on October 14. In the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023, India secured 192 runs, in 30.2 overs. Indian team won against Pakistan by 7 wickets, leading to celebrations. The much-awaited game was played in Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium. After the victory of team India, the entire nation erupted in joy, celebrating the Indian Cricket Team.
