Buoyed by his World Cup silver medal, GM R Praggnanandhaa is confident of Indian team's chances of winning gold at the upcoming Asian Games in Hangzhou. Recently, on September 1, India's new chess sensation Praggnanandhaa was felicitated by Sports Minister Anurag Thakur at his residence. After felicitation, he said feels India has a "good chance" of winning gold at the Asian Games. Praggnanandhaa is a part of 10-member Indian team.

China Releases Official Standard Map 2023 Edition, Includes Dispute Arunachal Pradesh

China officially released the 2023 edition of its "standard map" incorporating the disputed areas including its claims over Arunachal Pradesh, Aksai Chin region, Taiwan and the disputed South China Sea. India has repeatedly said that the state of Arunachal Pradesh has "always been" and will "always be" an integral part of the country. Jaipur Police Detained 16 Year Old Pakistani For Flying Without Documents

Pakistani girl Ghazal Parveen (16) arrived in India three years ago with her aunt. Both of them have been staying in Sikar’s Shrimadhopur since then. However, now on July 28, she was arrested at Jaipur airport, for flying without valid visa and documents. The police detained her and launched an investigation. In addition, her aunt and those two men who helped her to get tickets, were also detained for interrogation.
