Air Marshal VR Chaudhari Says Monitoring Situation At LAC"

In a press conference, the Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari said, "The Indian Air Force is looking at inducting military platforms, equipment and hardware worth Rs 2.5 to Rs 3 lakh crore in the next seven-eight years. He also said, the Indian Army deployed at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) are looking into the situation and monitoring to ensure no incidents happened, ahead of the Air Force Day.

Mig Fighter Jet Crashes In Suratgarh, 3 Civilians Died

In Rajasthan's Suratgarh Air Force space, a mig fighter jet crashed in the morning hours. The incident occurred during its routine morning sortie in which pilots reported safe, three civilians died in the accident. Indian Air Force Keeps Watch On Pakistani Airlines Landed In India

The Indian Air Force was closely monitoring a Pakistan International Airlines Boeing 777 jetliner which crossed into the Indian airspace last week.  The inspection started after it failed to land at Lahore airport because of heavy rain in the region. The Pakistani International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-248, had taken off from Muscat for Lahore, but it had to abort its landing because of poor weather conditions.

Flying Object Spotted Over Tirumala Region, TTD Trust Alerts

The Tirumala locals and police spotted a flying object over the TTD temple, creating commotion in the region. As per sources, the police spotted three flying helicopters, despite the fact that the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam is a no flying zone. According to the initial investigation, the helicopters were of the Indian Air Force, and were flying to Chennai from Kadapa. However, a case has been registered and investigation is underway.

Indian Army Cheetah Helicopter Crashes In Arunachal Pradesh

An Indian Army Cheetah Helicopter crashed near Mandala, Arunachal Pradesh, on March 16. The helicopter was performing an operational sortie near Bomdila, when it was reported to have lost contact with the air traffic control (ATC.) Search parties have been organied, and operations are underway to look for the crew in the helicopter. Furthermore, this is not the first time such tragic crash was reported in AP.

Iranian Origin Plane Bound To Cross Indian Air Base Receives Bomb Threat, IAF Scramble To Intercept

The Union Civil Aviation received a bomb threat in an Iranian-origin aircraft, Mahan Air flight headed to Guangzhou in China from Tehran in Iran, scheduled to cross over the Indian airbase. Amid the threat, and refusal of landing in India, Indian Air Force Su-30MKI fighter jets from Punjab and Jodhpur airbases were scrambled to intercept the plane, which avoided landing. Moreover, the nature of the threat call is unclear.

Rajnath Singh To Induct Light Combat Made-In-India Helicopters Into IAF

Made-in-India light combat helicopter will be inducted into the Indian Air Force (IAF) on October 3. The indigenously developed Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) which will be a major boost to the IAF. The chopper will be inducted in the presence of the Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Notably, 15 LCH choppers will be included in the Indian Defence sector, 10 for the IAF, whereas the remaining for the Indian Army.
