Jawan Box Office Collection, Mints Over Rs 200 Crores

Jawan, which released in theatres on Thursday, has already minted ₹200 crore at the domestic box office. Since the release, the film is making rounds and has become the first film of the Indian cinema, to opne at ₹75 crores. In two days the film witnessed a 39.96% jump, minting over ₹74 crore. Helmed by Atlee, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles.

Tamil Actor-Director G Marimuthu Dies At 57, Suffers Cardiac Arrest

Well-known Tamil actor-director, G Marimuthu, died in Chennai on Friday following cardiac arrest, the South Indian Artists Association said. Condolences poured in for the 57-year-old actor. "Director and actor G Marimuthu passed away this morning due to cardiac arrest in a private hospital," Nadigar Sangam said in a social media post. He reportedly fell uneasy while dubbing for a Tamil TV serial and was rushed to a hospital.

SRK Starrer Jawan Opens At Rs 75 Crores, Biggest In Indian Cinema History

The actor beat his own movie Pathaan, which was released in January this year. As per reports, Jawan collected Rs 75 crore on Day 1, which is Rs 18 crore more than Pathaan
