Indian Cities Racing In Residential Market Growth, Mumbai, Bengaluru Tops
In 2023, Indian cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi are racing ahead in terms of residential marketing growth, making the cost of living expensive. As per the latest report of Global Residential Cities Index Q2 2023, Knight Frank, the top metro cities is topping the list, after Dubai and other international locations. Notably, Mumbai is in 10th position, followed by Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata, making the living expensive.

Delhi Witnesses 28.69% Rise In Crimes Against Senior Citizens: NCRB
Delhi is the most unsafe for senior citizens among all metropolitan cities in India accounting, revealed the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) data. On August 30, they revealed that for over 27% of total crimes committed in Delhi, are against people aged 60 years and above. Moreover, the national capital has also witnessed a 28.69% surge in crime against senior citizens in 2021 as compared to the previous year.

PM Modi To Launch India's First Torch Relay Ahead Of 44th Chess Olympiad
PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to launch India first Torch-Relay ahead of the 44th Chess Olympiad on June 10. The historic event will cover 75 locations in India, starting from New Delhi to Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu, also the venue of the Chess Olympiad. Notably, the 44th Chess Olympiad is set to begin from July 28 to August 10, with a world-record of 343 teams from 187 countries.

India Witnesses Scorching Heat; Delhi Records 41 Degrees Celsius
Amid warm heatwave, the mercury levels increased, taking the temperature over 40 degrees Celsius in cities like Delhi, Allahabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Jhansi, Lucknow, and others. Of all, Uttar Pradesh logged a record high of 47.4 degrees Celsius for April. This is the hottest summer the nation is witnessing. Schools and colleges also have been shut amid heat. Government has advised people to be cautious while roaming in the sun.
