Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is likely to miss matches at the ICC World Cup 2023 against Sri Lanka and South Africa as the 30-year-old continues to recover from an ankle injury he suffered against Bangladesh in Pune on October 19, reported ESPN Cricinfo on Wednesday. Big drawback to the Indian Cricket Team, as Shubhman Gill is down with fever, likely to be dengue. According to sources, the BCCI is likely to make a decision about his participation in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 opening game. "Shubhman has had a high fever since landing in Chennai. His tests are being done. He will have tests on Friday and a call will be taken," said BCCI.

Pakistani Cricket team will be getting a visa for entering India and playing the One Day International (ODI) match. Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar suffered an ankle twist injury, and is set to rule out of the Indian One Day International (ODI) against South Africa. On October 9, the sources said, due to injury Chahar is likely to miss the remaining two games. The source added, "So it will be team management's call if they would like to risk Deepak as he is in T20 World Cup stand-by list."
