Indian Army Receives Israel's Heron Drones For Surveillance Operations
The Indian Army on November 30 received Israel's Heron drones, enhancing surveillance capabilities. The advanced drones will be deployed at Eastern Ladakh to keep a check on China's activities in view of the recent China-India conflict. The Defence Ministry procured these drones under the Emergency Financial Power, granted by PM Narendra Modi-led Government. Army Chief Embarks On 5-Day Visit To Israel To Boost Defence Ties
The Ministry of Defence on November 14 said Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravane flew to Israel on his five-day visit to the country. During the visit, the Army Chief will meet several senior military officials of Israel to strengthen Indo-Israel defence relations. Before his return to India, Mr. Naravane will also visit the headquarters of the Ground Forces element of the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF).
