Gujarati Film Chhello Show Enters Oscar 2023 Officially, Announces FFI

Pride for India, Gujarati coming-of-age drama "Chhello Show" is India's official entry for the 95th Academy Awards, the Film Federation of India (FFI) announced on September 20. Titled "Last Film Show" in English, the movie is directed by Pan Nalin, which is set to release in theatres countrywide on October 14. Notably, "'Chhello Show' is India's official entry for Oscars 2023," said FFI Secretary General Supran Sen.

JugJug Jeeyo Box Office Collection At Rs 12.55 Crore, on Day-2

Dharma Production's 'JugJug Jeeyo' earned Rs 12.55 crores box-office collection, on day two, June 26. The Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor and Anil Kapoor starer, comedy family watch released on June 24. While on day one, the film recorded over Rs 9 crore, on the second day, it had a massive jump with total earning at Rs 21.83 crores. The film also has YouTuber Prajakta Kohli and Manish Poul.

I&B Ministry Appoints Shekhar Kapur As Chairman Of FTII

The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has appointed filmmaker Shekhar Kapur as chairman of The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) governing council.
