Israel-Palestine War: 212 Indian Nationals Return Under Operation Ajay
As many as 212 Indian nationals from Israel arrived at the Delhi airport. Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar was present at the airport to welcome them. With folded hands, Chandrasekhar greeted the returning Indians. He then interacted with the students. The Government of India will plan more flights if necessary, and bring back stranded people in Conflict hit Israel. "The demand will dictate if more flights are needed," said official.

Go First Extended Flight Cancellation Till May 31
In an official statement, airline Go First announced that its flight operations will remain cancelled till May 30. The tweet shared also mentioned that passengers would get a full refund. "We regret to inform you that due to operational reasons, Go First flights scheduled till May 30, 2023, have been cancelled," said the airline. This is the second time that Go First extended the cancellation of operations.

Flights To Small Cities Will Be Expensive Soon
In a drawback for travellers, flights to II-tier cities are soon going to be expensive. As per sources, Civil Aviation decided to hike fares, amid the recent announcement of a hike in small airport charges. Notably, the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation increased the landing and parking charges at smaller airports in India by 30%, whereas user development fees by four times. The hike in rates will be applicable soon.
