Wrestlers Meet Amit Shah In His Delhi's Official Residence
The protesting wrestlers met with the Union Home Minister Amit Shah, at his residence in Delhi. Although the details of the meeting are not disclosed, but it lasted for over two hours and is said to be fruitful. It is to be noted, the crucial meeting between Amit Shah and the wrestlers came after the five-day ultimatum given to the central government, demanding arrest of WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan.

Rajasthan HC Gave Important Judgement Over Right To Choose Gender
In a decision towards social change, the Rajasthan High Court said that every person has the right to fully enjoy all human rights. A single bench of justice Anoop Kumar Dhand ordered the authorities to consider modifying the service record of a person who was assigned the female gender at birth. Notably, a person who had been assigned female at birth and later underwent gender reassignment surgery (GRS) and changed.

Delhi HC Lists PIL Against Rs 2,000 Note Withdrawal By RBI On May 29
The Delhi court, which was hearing a PIL challenging the RBI's decision to withdraw the banknote from circulation, posted the matter for hearing on May 29. The withdrawal of Rs 2000 denomination banknotes from circulation was a “currency management exercise”, said RBI. A bench headed by Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma is reviewing the matter, and asked the RBI to defer the decision of the withdrawal of Rs 2,000 notes.

Indian Navy Likely To Exetend Lease Of Sea Guardian Drones
With Quad nations joining hands-on maritime domain awareness in the Indo-Pacific, India plans to speed up the acquisition of armed drones from the US. The decision came despote the fact that the Indian Navy is working towards extending the lease of two General Atomics-manufactured Sea Guardian surveillance drones, set to expire in January 2024. The Indian Navy is satisfied with the output of its surveillance version, the Sea Guardian.

Union Govt To Launch Tobacco Free India Campaign On May 31
The Union Health Ministry is planning to launch a 60-day pan India campaign on the theme 'tobacco-free youth'. Starting on May 31, the campaign will focus on taking steps to prevent the initiation of tobacco use among youngsters and assisting users to quit. According to the Global Youth Tobacco Survey (GYTS), current tobacco use among young adolescents (13–15 years) in 2019 was 8.5% but is high amongst youths in India.

PM Modi Embarks Three Nation Visit, 40 Engagements Lined Up
