Israel-Palestine War: 212 Indian Nationals Return Under Operation Ajay

As many as 212 Indian nationals from Israel arrived at the Delhi airport. Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar was present at the airport to welcome them. With folded hands, Chandrasekhar greeted the returning Indians. He then interacted with the students. The Government of India will plan more flights if necessary, and bring back stranded people in Conflict hit Israel. "The demand will dictate if more flights are needed," said official.

230 Indians To Fly Back From War Zone Israel

Around 230 people will be the first Indian nationals to fly back from Israel under ‘Operation Ajay,’ the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on Thursday, adding that the Indian Air Force (IAF) could also be roped in to bring Indians back home from the war-hit country. The Operation Ajay was launched to bring back stranded Indians, mostly students from war hit Israel Palestine region.

Elections For 5 States To Begin On November 7, Results On Dec 3: ECI

Indian political parties including Congress and BJP, gear up for the 2023 State Assembly elections in five states, after the Election Commission of India, announced the schedule. As per the ECI announcement on October 9, the polling for five states are: Mizoram (November 7;) Madhya Pradesh Nov. 17; Chhattisgarh Nov. 7 and 17, two-phases; Rajasthan on Nov. 23; and Telangana on Nov. 30; Vote counting is on December 3.

History! India Contingent Achieves Highest Medal Tally, At 71

India's rise in the global sports arena at the Asian Games 2023, as the Indian contingent achieved its highest-ever medal tally at the Games, at the 19th edition in Hangzhou. Their previous best was 70 medals in Indonesia in 2018. They took their overall medal tally to 71 on October 4, in the current edition by adding two more medals in the first half of the day.
