BBC Send Fresh E-Mails To Employees, Asks To Cooperate With IT Officials
Amid the ongoing IT-Raids at the BBC offices in Delhi and Mumbai, the US company issued a mail to all its employees of these two branches. In the February 15 mail, they asked employees to cooperate with the tax officials and answer their questions comprehensively. In addition, the BBC asked the employees to refrain from answering questions on personal income, but to answer other salary-related queries.

PM Modi To Inaugurate Rajasthan Leg Of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway
PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the first completed section, Delhi–Dausa–Lalsot of the Delhi Mumbai Expressway to the nation. The expressway will be a major boost to economic development and will reduce travel time between Delhi to Rajasthan to 3.5-hours, from the previous 5-hours. In addition, the expressway will also connect Delhi-Mumbai, cutting travel time to 12-hours. The expressway is built for Rs 12,150 crores.

No Cow Hug Day On Feb 14, Animal Welfare Board Withdraws Order
On February 10, the Animal Husbandry Welfare Board Issued a fresh circular withdrawing its appeal of hugging cows on Valentine's Day, celebrated worldwide on February 14. "As directed by the Competent Authority and Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying the appeal issued by the Animal Welfare Board of India for the celebration of Cow Hug Day on 14th February 2023 stands withdrawn," read the circular.

Indian Economy Expected To Slow Down To 6.1% In 2023; Says IMF
As per the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Indian economy is expected to slow down in the next fiscal year with a projected growth of 6.1% from the previous 6.8%. On January 31, the IMF released its monthly update, which estimated global growth of 3.4% in 2022 to 2.9% in 2023, then rise to 3.1% in 2024. "we're expecting some slowdown to 6.1% in fiscal year 2023." said IMF Director.

Under Credit Guarantee Scheme For Startup, Rs 10 Crore Loans Allowed
With the announcement of the Indian government's credit guarantee scheme for startups (CGSS) many companies will get. The CGSS scheme will provide credit guarantees of up to Rs 10 Cr against startup loans that lending institutions issue. Under this scheme, the government aims to offer the said credit guarantee (for startups) to lending institutions including banks, financial institutions, NBFCs and alternative investment funds (AIFs).
