India To Bring 10 Cheetahs From South Africa
The C-17 transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) left India on February 16 morning, to bring the 12 cheetahs from South Africa. The National Tiger Conservation Authority official said, the cheetahs will arrive in India on February 18. Environment minister Bhupendra Yadav said that as many as 10 quarantine enclosures have been created at Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park for 12 cheetahs being flown in from South Africa.

Indian Govt Asks To Avoid Non-Essential Travel To Ukraine
Concerned over the escalation of hostilities in Ukraine, India advised its citizens to avoid all non-essential travel to and within Ukraine. On October 10, the Government of India asked them to strictly follow the safety and security guidelines issued by the local authorities. The advisory comes hours after Russia carried out strikes against multiple Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, which killed 10 people and left 60 others injured.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked the BJP and the RSS over rising fuel and cooking gas prices in India. The remarks were made during the Congress' ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ which completed its journey through Thrissur district and concluded at Cheruthuruthy in Kerala, after covering 11.5 km, on September 25. He said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) were attacking the “idea of Kerala”.

ESIC Scheme To Cover Entire India By 2022 Dec

Consultation On Cryptocurrencies Done, Papers Will Be Submitted Soon
The Economic Affairs Secretary Ajay Seth addressed the media and said, they have completed the consultation on cryptocurrencies and will submit the report soon. India Registers 2,288 New COVID Cases, Active Cases Dip To 19,637
India registered 2,288 new COVID-19 cases, which was reduced compared to the cases registered on May 10. Furthermore, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare confirmed 3,044 recovered cases and 10 death cases in India. With the drop in the COVID-19 cases, the active cases stand at 19,637 with a 0.47% daily positivity rate. Besides, the MoHFW reported that approximately 190.50 crore vaccine doses of COVID-19 have been administered.
