FIDE World Cup 2023: Indian Grandmaster Loses 1st Game Against Carlsen
Norwegian legend Magnus Carlsen took a crucial lead in the Chess World Cup 2023 final as he won the first Game against Indian prodigy Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa in Baku. The duo will lock horns shortly in Game 2 which will decide the winner of the competition. Carlsen won game 1 in 45 moves and will have the advantage of white pieces in the second game, leaving Praggnanandhaa in a must-win situation

Indian Grandmaster Shocks Nation, Beats World No 3 Caruana, Enters Finals Of FIDE World Cup
Indian Grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa registered a stunning victory over world number 3 Fabiano Caruana in the semi-finals of the ongoing FIDE World Cup chess tournament in Baku, Azerbaijan on Monday. The Indian teenager shocked Caruana 3.5-2.5 via the tie-break in the semifinals. He is now set to face Magnus Carlsen in the final of the tournament that will take place on August 22.
