Rishi Singh Of Ayodhya Wins Indian Idol Season 13
Ayodhya's Rishi Singh is announced as the winner of 'Indian Idol 13'. The contestant was among the 6 finalists of the reality singing show, which was aired on 'Sony TV'. Rishi, who is a fan of note singer Arijit Singh, defeated Debasmita Roy and Chirag Kotwal. The winner won a cash prize of Ts 25 lakhs and a trophy, given by judges Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar and Himesh Reshamiya.

Indian Idol Contestant Arrested In 100 Cases Of Robbery: Delhi
Two-time taekwondo Gold Medalist and Indian Idol Season 4 contestant, Suraj aka 'Fighter' was arrested in West Delhi for allegedly being involved in over 100 cases of snatching and robbery on September 27. He and his two accomplices committed robbery on a motorbike while armed with a country-made gun and a knife. Police discovered a country-made gun, 55 cellphones, and five two-wheelers from him.

Makers Asked To Praise All Contestants: Ex-Indian Idol Judge Sunidhi
Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan has opened up on not judging reality shows anymore. Talking about the Indian Idol controversy, Sunidhi agreed that makers asked her to praise every contestant. Ex-judge on singing show Dil Hai Hindustani and The Voice, Chauhan claimed, “We all were told (to praise). That was the basic thing. And so, I couldn’t go on.” Recently, Kishore Kumar’s son Amit also alleged Indian Idol makers of same.

Sona Mohapatra Praises Rekha's Presence At Indian Idol; Slams Anu Malik
Singer Sona Mohapatra, via Twitter, has expressed her happiness over veteran Bollywood actress Rekha's presence in Sony TV's Indian Idol show. However, she also slammed the channel for calling composer Anu Malik at the show considering the fact that he was also an accused of sexual harassment during the #MeToo movement in India. In her tweet, Sona called Malik a "serial sexual predator" and "pervert".
