Drug Destruction Day: 42,000 Kg Drugs To Be Destroyed Across 14 Locations
The Ministry of Finance stated that around 42,000 kg of drugs will be destroyed across 14 locations, on June 8. The Drug Destruction Day will be observed as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAB) celebration, and will be carried out by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC). AKAB celebrations are carried out by th Ministry of Finance, to marks India's 75th year of Independence.

Usha Mehta: The Brave Female Freedom Fighter
Usha Mehta was one of the many female freedom fighters who played a role in the fight for Indian independence. Along with a few others, Usha spread the message of a free India by transmitting information about the "Quit India Movement" through an underground radio, despite the censorship imposed at the time. Usha was eventually arrested and imprisoned for four years at Yerwada Jail, while receiving praise for her efforts.
