In a significant relief to the Indian citizens, commercial LPG cylinders in India have been cut by Rs 83.50, according to the official Indian Oil website the new prices are in effect from June 1. However, the cost of 14.2-kg domestic gas cylinders has not been changed. Last month, the cost of commercial LPG cylinders was cut by Rs 172, but the price of domestic cylinders was unchanged.

Adar Poonwalla, CEO of the Serum Institute of India (SII) applied for full market authorisation of its COVID-19 vaccine, Covishield, on December 31. "Supplies of Covishield vaccine in India, exceeded 1.25 billion doses. The Government of India now has enough data to allow full market authorisation," tweeted SII CEO. They there launched Dorje Teas to revive Darjeeling tea to the Indian Market in June 2021.
