Sudan Violence: Operation Kaveri Begins To Evacuate Stranded Indians

Amid the Sudan issue and violence, the Indian Government led by the BJP started Operation Kaveri.  The operation to evacuate the Indian nationals in the region.Operation Kaveri gets underway to bring our citizens stranded in Sudan. About 500 Indians have reached Port Sudan. Indian Govt In Touch With Other Countries Amid Sudan Violence

India is coordinating closely with various countries to ensure the safety and security of Indian nationals in Sudan, amid the ongoing violence, which killed hundreds of people. Notably, the Union External Affairs Ministry is engaging with the Quartet countries of the US, UK, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which have a key role and ensured support. Moreover, a dedicated control room in Delhi is in touch with Embassy in Khartoum.

IAF Aircraft On Standby To Rescue Indian Nationals In Kabul

According to the sources, a C-17 Indian Air Force aircraft is ready to fly to Kabul to bring back the Indian nationals stranded in Afghanistan amid Taliban rule. India is working with the US government to allow the aircraft to reach Kabul for transporting the Indians as soon as they will be able to reach the Kabul airport. Hopefully, 250 citizens can fit in the aircraft.

India has advised all of its citizens living in Afghanistan to follow the measures and evacuate the nation as the Taliban siege. Afghanistan Unrest: 50 Indian Nationals Returns As Taliban Advances

India escorted 50 of its nationals from war-torn Afghanistan amid ongoing unrest as the Taliban advances to cities. A special flight from Mazar in Afghanistan arrived Delhi on the morning of August 11. Mazar-i-Sharif is the capital of northern Balkh province and a pivotal region for Afghanistan. While several Indian diplomats returned from Kandahar, there are still at least 1500 Indians working in Afghanistan.
