Muzaffarnagar Slap Incident: Accused School Teacher Arrested

In yet another development in UP Muzaffarnagar Muslim boy slap incident, the school teacher who asked other students to slap the boy, has been arrested. On September 28, the police arrested the teacher of the school. Notably, the investigation was based on a police complaint filed by the victim's father, demanding punishment for the accused teacher. The father of the class V student claimed, Hindu-Muslim communal clash.

Congress Leader Digvijaya Singh Booked Under IPC Section

Congress Veteran and former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijaya have been booked for atrocities case. The police registered the case for allegedly sharing a controversial post on former Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief MS Golwalkar on social media.  local lawyer and RSS worker Rajesh Joshi filed the FIR. Digvijaya Singh is booked under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC.)

Stalker Attacks Woman With Sickle In Maharashtra; Victim Undergoes Treatment

Tulshiram Narge (45) has been booked under Section 307 of the IPC, said Maharashtra Police, on March 2. Tulshiram was stalking a woman and entered  her house when she was alone, reported PTI. He tried to take advantage, but the victim protested. After which, the accused attacked her with a sickle. Furthermore, the accused is currently absconding, whereas the victim is undergoing treatment at hospital.

Gujarat Court Convicts 49 Accused In 2008 Bomb Blast, Reserve Sentence

A special Gujarat Court, on February 8, convicted 49 accused in 2008 Gujarat Bomb Blast. The incident which took 56 lives and left 200 injured will get judgement. As per reports, of the 77 accused, the court acquitted 28 and convicted 49 for sentence, reserved for February 9. The case was registered under UAPA Act, Section 320 of IPC, Criminal Conspiracy and 1,163 witnesses during the trials of court.

Siddharth Booked Under IPC & IT Sections Over 'Twitter Joke': Hyderabad Police

Tollywood actor Siddharth has been booked under section 506 of the IPC and section 67 of the IT Act, over his recent sexist Twitter remark, against Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal. On January 12, a Hyderabad woman filed a complaint with the Cybercrime Wing of Hyderabad. Although Siddharth apologized for the joke after backlash from netizens and political leaders, a case has been registered.

Bihar: Man Rapes Minor, Sentenced To 12-Year Imprisonment

A special court on June 24 sentenced 12-year imprisonment to Manish Kumar, under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act. He was also sentenced to 10-year rigorous imprisonment under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code, for raping a 15-year-old minor, a year ago in Kaimur District. Bihar: Minister Faces Charges Of Conspiracy, Murder

Bihar's minister Ramsewak Singh has been booked for conspiracy and murder charges under IPC sections 120B and 302. He is accused of murdering Bajrang Dal member Jai Bahadur Singh who was shot dead in Mirganj. The deceased's grandson, in his complaint, alleged that Ramsewak killed Jai Bahadur as the latter opposed the minister's campaign to vote for Janata Dal (United). However, the minister said, "My name has been wrongly dragged."
