RIL Announces Jio Air Fiber 5G Launch In India On Ganesh Chaturthi
Reliance Jio's 5G services marks the fastest-ever rollout of this scale anywhere in the world, and the company is "on track" to cover the entire country with the ultra-high-speed network by December this year, RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani said on August 28. JioAirFiber will be launched on Ganesh Chaturthi, on September 19, Ambani said at the 46th AGM of Reliance Industries. This would be a major step towards technology growth.

Rolling Out 5G Should Be National Priority: Mukesh Ambani
Mukesh Ambani, MD of the Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), on December 8, said, "Roll out of 5g in India should be a national priority." Aiming at a digital revolution in India, Ambani emphasized on the need of 5g, executed by telecom army, Jio. It is expected that by 2027, 39% mobile subscriptions will have 5g technology.
