IndiGo Imposes Flying Ban On LDF Leader, 2 Cong Workers For Misbehaviour Onboard
IndiGo has imposed a flying ban on Kerala's ruling Left Democratic Front's convenor EP Jayarajan, along with two Youth Congress workers after they were involved in a scuffle onboard. The leaders shouted slogans against the Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, as he was on the same flight, on June 13. The IndiGo aircraft was flying from Kannur Thiruvananthapuram, airport. Notably, the ban has been imposed on July 18, for three weeks.

IndiGo Sharjah-Hyderabad Aircraft Makes Emergency Landing In Karachi Airport Due To Technical Glitch
IndiGo aircraft from Sharjah to Hyderabad was redirected to Pakistan's Karachi airport after the pilot claimed technical fault. IndiGo stated that another flight will be dispatched to Karachi to transport passengers to Hyderabad. This is the second time in two weeks that an Indian airline has made an emergency landing in Karachi. Previously, on July 5, a SpiceJet flight from New Delhi to Dubai had to undergo an emergency landing.

PM Narendra Modi Inaugurates Deoghar Airport, Launches Maiden Flight From Deoghar To Kolkata
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched 657-acre, Rs 401 crore Deoghar airport. He also signaled the departure of first IndiGo flight from Deoghar to Kolkata from the new airport. Indigo Questioned By DGCA After Multiple Flight Delays
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), India's aviation regulator, requested an explanation from the airline operations after multiple Indigo flights were delayed across the nation. The principal cause of the problem was attributed to a lack of crew members. On July 2, just 45% of IndiGo flights were able to depart within 15 minutes of the planned time, according to statistics from the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

Turkish Airlines, IndiGo Resumes Codeshare Agreement
The codeshare agreement signed between Turkish Airlines and IndiGo has resumed, confirmed an official statement, issued on June 30. As per the agreement, passengers will be able to book flight tickets of any of the two airlines, on each other's websites. American Airlines-IndiGo Signs Codeshare Agreement In India

Indigo Fined Rs 5 Lakh By DGCA For Denying Boarding To Special-Needs Child
Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) penalized Indigo Rs 5 lakh on May 28 after the airline denied boarding to a specially-abled youngster at Ranchi airport. IndiGo Suffers Huge Loss In Q4 2022 Amid Omicron Variant
Airlines IndiGo suffered a huge net loss of Rs 1,681 crore in the quarter ending March, said company on May 25. The airlines' Q4 loss was said to be 46.6% close to Rs 6,161 crores, more compared to the loss in 2021, which was Rs 5,806 crores.
