Pakistani Intruder Shot Down In Jammu's Arnia Sector

Border Security Forces said on January 3, that a Pakistani intruder was shot dead near the international border in the Arnia sector of Jammu on January 2-3. During the patrolling duty, BSF observed a suspicious movement, and firing was done. "Alert troops of BSF Jammu fired upon suspicious movement of Pak intruder in Arnia sector of Jammu area opposite Border Pillar No 978," said the BSF. Search operation is underway.

India-Pakistan Armies Exchange Sweets On New Year: Jammu & Kashmir

India-Pakistan armies exchanged sweets, on January 1, New Year, along the Line of Control (LoC) at Poonch and Mendhar crossing points in Jammu & Kashmir. "Considering the ongoing ceasefire along India-Pak border, this gesture is aimed at further enhancing peace and harmony in J&K," a statement reads. Notably, both the armies had announced to adhere to the ceasefire across the LoC, in February 2021.

BSF Kills Pak Intruder Along Indo-Pak Border In Punjab's Gurdaspur

The Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead a Pakistani intruder who was trying to cross the international border in Punjab's Gurdaspur sector on December 21, at 6:45 AM. Reportedly, the BSP personnel also gave him warnings to stop but he continued his attempt. At last, he was killed. According to the BSF, the intruder's identity is yet to be identified.

BSF Kills Pakistani Trespasser For Intruding At Indo-Pak Border

The Border Security Force (BSF) has killed a Pakistani trespasser while he was approaching towards the Samba sector in Indo-Pak international border during the wee hours of February 8. BSF's statement mentioned that the intruder was given several warnings. However, he was shot dead since he continued walking to the border fence. As per reports, The intruder had trespassed up to 40 metres on the Indian land.
