900 Trees To Be Cut Down For Road Widening In Indore: IMC

Indore Municipal Corporation's (IMC) garden officer Chetan Patil on March 17, informed that out of 900 trees that will be cut, 10% of it include neem and peepal, which will be uprooted and transplanted somewhere else with a special technique. The road stretches around 5 km from Bhankarwaun crossing to Tejaji Nagar on the Indore-Khandwa road. Other trees being wild species, cannot be uprooted elsewhere, he added.
