WHO: Monkeypox Infection May Be Harmful To Foetus, Infants & Mother
While the effects of monkeypox infection during pregnancy are unknown, research shows that infection may have negative consequences for the foetus or newborn infant as well as the mother, according to the World Health Organization. There is a hazard to health professionals if they come into contact with a patient while not wearing adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) to avoid spreading.

Punjab Gets 1st Breast Milk Pump Bank For Infants In Ludhiana
The first breast milk pump bank has been opened in Punjab's Ludhiana by the district administration in the Civil Hospital on September 10. In the bank, health workers will not only pump out the breast milk to give the infants at regular intervals but also preserve it. However, the preserved milk will be given to those infants whose mothers couldn't provide breast milk due to various medical reasons.
