Hardik Pandya To Miss Matches Of ICC World Cup 2023
Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is likely to miss matches at the ICC World Cup 2023 against Sri Lanka and South Africa as the 30-year-old continues to recover from an ankle injury he suffered against Bangladesh in Pune on October 19, reported ESPN Cricinfo on Wednesday. Since then, Pandya missed India’s matches against New Zealand and England. Pandya's replacement is said to be all-rounder Mohammad Shami.

At around 10:30 p.m., individuals began leaving the Ruoff Music Centre in Noblesville, according to local authorities. Police Constable Injured In Encounter Between Naxals-Police In Maharashtra
An encounter broke out between police and Naxals in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli region, resulting in serious injuries to a police constable. On May 3, police said, the encounter started after a team of C-60 commandos, a specialized combat unit-Gadchiroli police were patrolling in the area. The Naxals opened fire on the police. Furthermore, the injured constable was rushed to a hospital and the area has been cordoned off.

Shooting At Car Show Leaves 10 Severely Injured In Arkansas: US
In a tragic incident, ten people were injured severely due to shooting at a car show, as per media reports. On March 19, the shooting took place in the city of Dumas, Arkansas. Police Constable Shoots Himself With Police Rifle In Mumbai; Situation Critical
A constable of State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) on-duty shot himself with his service rifle in the morning on January 25 in Mumbai. Identified as Pushkar Sudhakar Shinde (36), the constable was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, after the incident took place, where his condition is said to be critical. Police said that Shinde was inside a van, when he fired himself with a rifle.

Man Held In Moradabad For Attempting To Loot Jewellery Shop: UP
While attempting to steal valuables from jewellery shop, a person was held in Muradabad area, Uttar Pardesh, while another one managed to escape. Reports said that two persons came to Verma Jewellers, with an aim to steal valuables from shop, which was resisted. The duo opened fire, however the shop owner attacked one of them, and injured him with an iron rod.
