Footballer Bhaichung Bhutia Criticize Sikkim's CM Over ILP

The national football icon and Hamro Sikkim Party (HSP) chief Bhaichung Bhutia on August 19 criticized the CM Prem Singh Tamang as he refused to raise demand with the center of Inner Line Permit (ILP) to Sikkim. Bhutia also attacked CM saying he allowed the center to ''dilute the provisions of article 371F''. The demand says Sikkim should be granted ILP as it has international borders like Northeastern states.

In a bid to implement Inner Line Permit (ILP) in Meghalaya, the Confederation of Meghalaya Social Organizations (CoMSO) protested at the state secretariat on April 16.
