Brij Bhushan Sharan Gets Interim Bail In Wrestlers Assault Case

In the Wrestler sexual assault case, BJP MP and WFI Chairman Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh got two days interim bail. According to sources, on July 18, the Delhi Rouse Avenue Court granted him bail, with a furnish bond of Rs 25,000. Furthermore, the single bench magistrate bench also adjourned the matter for the next hearing, scheduled on July 20. Notably, the Delhi Police issued a summon notice against Brij Bhushan.

SC Extends Interim Bail To Ashish Mishra In Lakhimpur Violence

The Supreme Court extended the interim bail of Ashish Mishra, an accused in the 2021 Lakhimpur Violence. On July 11, the Top Court bench comprising Justices Suryakant and Dipankar Dutta extended the interim bail to September 26, citing the ongoing trial into the violence. The bench comprising granted the bail and adjourned the matter to September 26. Notably, in 2021, eight people, including four farmers were mowed down by Mishra.

Manish Sisodia's Interim Bail Plea Rejected By Delhi HC

In another major setback for AAP, Manish Sisodia, the former Deputy CM of Delhi's interim bail plea has been rejected. Delhi HC rejected the ball plea in the Liquor Policy Scam issue registered with the Enforcement Directorate. The rejection of the bail was in the view that the allegations against Sisodia are serious and he might tamper evidence if released. However, he was allowed to meet his ailing wife.

Manish Sisodia Reaches Residence After Wife Hospitalized

Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia arrived at his residence from the Tihar jail. Sisodia reached there after getting interim relief to meet his ailing wife, who was taken to a hospital after her health deteriorated prior to the AAP leader's arrival. A source said, "Sisodia's wife Seema was hospitalised as she felt unwell. She is suffering from multiple sclerosis and was hospitalised last month as well."

Satyender Jain Gets Interim Bail On Medical Grounds

In breaking news, the Supreme Court granted interim bail to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyender Jain. The grant of bail was given on medical grounds, as the former Delhi Health Minister suddenly felt unconscious in Tihar Jail.  He was rushed to the Deen Dayal Hospital, following which was shifted to the LNPJ Hospital in Delhi. Notably, Jain was arrested in 2022, by the ED in connection with money-laundering case.

SC Grants Interim Bail To Mohammed Zubair In UP Hate Speech

In a relief to Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair, the Supreme Court reviewed his bail plea, and granted him interim relief on July 8.  During the hearing of plea, challenging the Allahabad HC refusal to quash FIR against him in Uttar Pradesh hate speech. Bombay HC Declines Bail Pleas Of Malik, Deshmukh To Vote In MLC Elections

The Bombay High Court on June 17 denied Anil Deshmukh and Nawab Malik's requests for interim release. NCP Leaders Anil Deshmukh and Nawab Malik had applied for interim release in order to vote in the forthcoming MLC elections on June 20. The High Court on June 10 denied Malik any immediate relief, stating that the context of his appeal was for bail.
