United Airlines intends to begin daily flights from Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport to San Francisco in the fourth quarter of 2022. Good news for travelers, as international flights are set to be operational from March 27. The flights resumed after a gap of two years due to the coronavirus pandemic, said the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Approximately, 1,466 international departures will operate to 43 destinations in 27 countries per week, for six carriers, this summer. Remarkably, few new airlines will also begin airline operations in India.

West Bengal has lifted travel restrictions on incoming international flights after a decline in COVID-19 cases.
