International Genocide Day

Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen  said that the country is working towards marking March 25 as the International Genocide Day. The day will reportedly be recognised to remember the horrors of the 1971 genocide by the Pakistani military. He further stated that the 1971 incident is one of the most “heinous crimes in human history”, and that there’s no other such barbaric act committed by anyone.
