Kerala Couple Visited Israel To Meet Daughter, Stranded In War Zone

Amid the ongoing Israel-Palestine war and conflict, a couple, who travelled from Thiruvananthapuram to Israel last month to visit their daughter, Anagha, are now stranded They have mix emotion, as they are relieved to be with Anaha, who is pursuing her PhD at Bar Ilan University in Tel Aviv, but tensed as they are in a war zone. They planned to return to India but due to flight cancellation.

Israel-Gaza Attack: Rocket Attack Near Israel Hotel, Crew Takes Shelter

A rocket exploded near a hotel in Israel's Ashkelon, barely a few kilometers from the Gaza strip, this morning as NDTV journalists were about to check-in. Air raid sirens blared and the crew ran for the basement shelter leaving their luggage behind, showing visuals underlining the horror that Israelis are facing. Several roads are barricaded. Rockets and the humming of fighter jets could be heard in the background.

Titanic Submarine Underwater, Rescuers Conduct Searches

Rescuers searching for a missing tourist submersible near the wreck of the Titanic have detected "underwater noises" in the search area, the US Coast Guard said on June 21.US and Canadian coast guard ships and planes are scouring 7,600 square miles of ocean (around 20,000 square kilometers) -- larger than the US state of Connecticut for the vessel. The ROV searches is likely to continue the search for the vessel.
