Rafael Nadal earned his 10th Italian Open title as he defeated Novak Djokovic 7-5, 1-6, 6-3 at the Internazionali BNL d'Italia that ended on May 16. With this victory, Nadal improved his head-to-head clash with Djokovic to 28-29 out of their 57th meeting overall. Besides, he also earned his 88th tour-level title, surpassing Djokovic (82), in the list of most titles in open era since 1968.
