Tamil Nadu Govt To Provide High Speed Internet To All 12,535 Village Panchayats At 1 Gbps Bandwidth
Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin initiated works to provide high speed internet connectivity to all the 12,535 village panchayats in the state. On June 9, he inaugurated the laying of optical fibre cables. Reportedly, the project is worth Rs 1,627.8 crore, and will be implemented by Tamil Nadu Fibrenet Corporation (TANFINET). The project aims at providing 1 Gbps bandwidth connectivity to the village panchayats.

In Karnataka's Laila village, a hen led some 10 cashew-shaped eggs. The bizarre incident left villagers stunned, and also went viral on social media platforms.
