Internet Services, SMS Suspended In Punjab Province Until March 21
All mobile internet services, all SMS (except banking and recharges) services have been suspended in the region of Punjab province, until March 21. The Department of Home Affairs and Justice, Government of Punjab took the decision in view of the interest of the public and the safety of Punjab citizens. Recently, the Punjab Police arrested Khalistani terrorist Amrit Pal Singh, which led to a protest in Punjab.

Wanted Khalistani Amritpal Singh Detained In Punjab
Amritpal Singh, a self styled radical Sikh preacher and Khalistan sympathiser, has been detained in Punjab India. On March 18, after a dramatic chase, the Punjab Police arrested Singh, who is a wanted Khalistani terrorist. Internet Suspended, Section 144 Imposed In Manipur Over Security Concerns
Internet has been suspended for five days, and section 144 of CrPC has been imposed in Manipur over law and order concerns. The move has come after an incident in Bishnupur district, where an eco van was set ablaze in the Phougakchao lkhang area by three-four youths. The internet has been suspended to counter "rumor-mongers", and stop the spread of hatred and photos through social media.

Curfew Announced In 2 Villages, Internet Suspended After Violent Protests Against Eid Cow Slaughter: Rajasthan
In Rajasthan's Hanumangarh, police detained 45 persons including a woman after protests turned violent. Also, a curfew has been imposed in two adjoining villages to bring the situation under control. Internet services have also been suspended to curb the spread of fake news. Reportedly, protests broke out demanding action against those involved in cow slaughter on Eid (July 11). The protest witnessed stone-pelting and baton charge.

Udaipur Administration Relaxes Curfew In Disturbed Region Amid Tailor's Murder
In Udaipur, the curfew has been relaxed for 10-hours on July 3, amid the Udaipur Tailor Murder case. As per sources, the situation is becoming normal in the city, due to which the situation is returning to normal, which resulted to curfew relax timing, 6 am- 10 pm. Curfew Announced, Internet Suspended In Jammu's Bhaderwah Over Social Media Posts
Following tensions over some social media posts, in Bhaderwah town of Jammu's Doda district, a curfew has been imposed and internet were suspended, on June 10. The move has come after a video went viral, in which an instigating announcement was made from a mosque in Bhaderwah. Reportedly, internet services have been cut in Kishtwar and Ramban districts. Meanwhile, two FIRs have been filed in the matter.

Internet Service Suspended In Jodhpur Amid Community Clash
In Rajasthan's Jodhpur, the internet has been suspended in the area, after the recent stone-pelting incident. As per sources, Jodhpur Divisional Commissioner Himanshu Gupta announced the suspension of the internet from 1:00 am, of May 3. On May 2, two communities were involved in the clash after some unidentified people removed the religious flag at Balmukand Bissa. As of now all 2g/3g/4g services, bulk SMS services has been suspended.
