Mumbai To Host International Olympic Committee Session 2023
India will host the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) session 2023 in Mumbai. This will be the second time India hosts an IOC session over 1983 in New Delhi. However, Mumbai has received 99% of the recommendation votes of the delegates participating in the process. As per reports, the session will be hosted at the Jio World Convention Centre (JWC) in Bandra Kurla Complex.

Winter Olympics: Athletes To Be Allowed Only After Complete Vaccination
CEO Sarah Hirshland wrote that the USOPC requires staff, athletes, and all the training staff to be fully vaccinated starting from November 1 ahead of the Winter Olympics. According to the stated requirements, athletes will have to show vaccination certificates by December 1. The United States is expected to send over 240 athletes for the winter session.

Government Increases Ethanol Price By Upto Rs 3.34/Litre
The government has increased the sugarcane-extracted ethanol price by upto Rs 3.34 per litre, effective from December 2020 as oil-marketing companies are eyeing to procure 465 crore litres of eco-friendly ethanol for 2020-21. The price hike will help sugarcane-farmers sell produce more efficiently. India, which imports 85% of its oil requirements, dopes 10% ethanol to ease import dependency.
