Action Game 'FAU-G' Gets Live On App Store; Only For iOS Users

Fearless and United Guards (FAU-G) is now obtainable for iOS users, with free downloads available on iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch through the Apple App Store. The 567.2 MB-sized Indian gaming app is compatible with only iOS 10 and successive operating systems and would track primary user data. Interestingly, FAU-G is tipped for a multiplayer Team Deathmatch mode, although developer nCore Games is yet to confirm the update.

Facebook Launches BARS App For Budding Rappers

Social media giant Facebook launched 'BARS' app on iOS to take on Chinese video sharing app TikTok. Developed by Facebook's R&D team, the app eyes to create and share raps using  inbuilt tools. In addition, it includes pre-installed beats to enhance users' experience. Interestingly, the app provides rhyming  dictionary to enhance quality. Moreover, the app is launched for aspiring rappers who have limited access to recording studios.

Apple Pulls iOS App 'Vybe Together' Promoting Parties During COVID-19

Tech giant Apple has removed an iOS app 'Vybe Together' which encouraged underground parties during the pandemic. The app's TikTok account, which promoted weekend gatherings, was also removed. Citing its Instagram page, experts believe it was earlier launched as ‘Trendies.” Moreover, started with a tagline "Get your rebel on, Get your party on,” its Instagram page now dons with the sole post claiming "We DO NOT CONDONE LARGE GATHERINGS."

Apple Users Witness Rapid Battery Drain After Updating To iOS 14.2

Some Apple users have experienced a rapid battery drain after updating their software to iOS 14.2, according to Reddit post. Reportedly, iPhone and iPad users encountered 50% drop in just 30 minutes or a steep drop to 1% from 70% in short span. Besides, some observed instant rise in battery percentage after they restarted their phone. Mostly, users of iPhone XR, 7, SE and 11 series have encountered these issues.

Twitter To Curb Misinformation By Warning Users Before Liking Flagged Tweet

Twitter will now be warning its users before they like a labeled tweet, which may contain information that can be misleading. Twitter had already implemented a similar warning system during the US Presidential Election that resulted in a 29% decline in spread of misleading tweets.
